The Lodge is a unique and contemporary wilderness retreat on the edge of the World Heritage Listed Cradle Mountain-Lake St. Clair National Park. Here, ancient mountain peaks and trees thousands of years old are reflected in mirror-like lakes and each season brings new delights to enjoy. Days are filled with simple pleasures, including sampling fine Tasmanian food and wine.

There are a total of 86 individual timber cabins set in the wilderness all featuring wood or gas fire (electric heater in King Billy and Spa suites only), alarm clock, private facilities with toilet, shower and amenities, table and chairs, tea and coffee making facilities, refrigerator, hairdryer, Iron and Ironing board, serviced daily to help guests leave the outside world behind, TV whilst available in the lodge, are not found in guest cabins.

The lodge is set on the northern edge of the World Heritage listed Cradle Mountain/Lake St. Clair National Park in north western Tasmania. It is also located 81 km from Devonport (1 and 1/4 h. drive), 110km from Burnie(1and 1/2 h.), 142 km from Launceston (2 h drive) and 375 km from Hobart (4 and 1/2 h. drive).
